The city of San Leandro is putting a hold on plans to close the north end of Timothy Drive after a heated meeting with residents of District 3 two weeks ago. The city notified the residents of their tentative plans to close the street in a letter sent out prior to the meeting. Neighbors worry that Timothy Drive – which is right next to the industrial area – would experience greater traffic and even an increase in emergency response time, should the north end be closed.…..Read more…
