San Leandro is the muthalovin’ ghetto-hood. It’s not safe here! The liberal city council will continue to push (and fund) it’s gay little liberal projects–free bus service for freeloaders, “green” initiatives, grants for social services to bring more poor folks to the city, and TOD to bring more subsidized housing to town. We need more cops! It’s unacceptable that business owners are getting shot in the face; video store workers 1/3 mile from the police station face repeated robberies at gunpoint; purses are getting snatched; women are attacked in their homes after getting groceries; teenagers are getting their iPods stolen walking home from school; and now bar and restaurant patrons are being violently attacked at gunpoint. San Leandro is not the place for families anymore; it’s becoming South East Oakland.
