Betts Springs Packing Up For Fresno

A major manufacturer of springs and vehicle components is leaving San Leandro for the Central Valley because their employees can no longer afford to live close to the plant. The Betts Spring Company has operated in San Leandro since the 1970s and will soon move their corporate office and manufacturing operations from Williams Street to Fresno where the vehicle component and truck part facility is already located. ….
