I am Abdule Graham’s uncle and wish to express my concern over District Attorney, John Goodfellow’s apprehension in filing wrongful death charges, against the inmate involved in the altercation with my nephew. If the race of the individuals were different, would a more aggressive prosecution strategy be warranted.
I do not want play the race card, and I never have, but I feel in this society a fight between two negro’s that are inmates is really not that important. If I were to attack an individual in this society and that person died of a heart attack, I would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. And, in my eyes this case should be no different. The family of Abdule Graham wants fair justice on this matter.
Mr. Abdule Graham, leaves behind three children who will not see him again. His case had the potential of him being innocent of the charges he was in jail for. Whatever happened to a speedy trial? Does money dictate the quality of govermental judicial review?
