Alameda County Supervisor Alice Lai-Bitker recently gave her State of the County speech to the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce and spoke to the Times about her plans for San Leandro and San Lorenzo in 2008 — with a focus on community redevelopment, environmental issues, and the health and safety of residents.
