Who maintains the signals at all the intersections in San Leandro? Steve Lombardi and his crew are responsible for all of the traffic signals at 57 intersections in San Leandro (not counting an additional 17 intersections of which Cal Trans is responsible for). The crew maintains all 5500 street lights in San Leandro, all of the underground fiber optic cables for telecommunications. “They’re very technical, they’re a small crew, they do a lot of work, they’ve got a lot of responsibility,” says Ron May, the Public Works Supervisor for the City of San Leandro. ….
