A man jumped into a vehicle leaving a bank in downtown San Leandro on Tuesday, then shot and killed the driver in Washington Plaza. The driver, 25-year-old Ernest Ray Sauceda, was whisked by ambulance to Eden Hospital in Castro Valley where he was pronounced dead. Sauceda had left the Wells Fargo Bank where he made a deposit and got into his Range Rover in the parking garage behind the bank, according to Lt. Tom Overton of the San Leandro police. …. More
