AC Transit Redrawing Its Bus Routes New 89 line to replace the 55 route to west SL

Facing a budget deficit of over $50 million, AC Transit has proposed cutting and combining several of its East Bay bus routes.

The changes would affect nearly 100 bus routes, with some reduced to running just during heavy commute times, others discontinued altogether. But some new routes will be created to combine the lines that are on the chopping block. Read more
