All he wanted was another bowl of the thin gruel the workhouse boys were fed but that led to bigger things than ever he could have imagined. The San Francisco Opera may have performed the world premier of “Appomattox” this fall, but Castro Valley’s Chanticleers presented their own world premiere: “Type Talking: the Musical.” “Type Talking” is the work of two talented actors, Charlotte Jacobs and Michael Sally, who appeared together two years ago in another Chanticleers production. ….
