Police have arrested two people who they believe may be responsible for some 20 commercial burglaries throughout San Leandro and the Bay Area.
The suspects, 36-year old Brian Anderson and his accomplice, 30-year old Denise Farrall, were arrested by San Leandro police shortly after a burglary at Los Pericos restaurant in Pelton Center shortly after midnight on Monday.
Officer Daniel Sellers was driving near Pelton Center when he saw Anderson walking away from Los Pericos where a window had been smashed, according to police. …. More

A man with a handwritten note robbed Fremont Bank on East 14th Street at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The bank teller told police that the suspect approached his station with a handwritten note, but never handed it over, instead keeping his hands concealed under his shirt sleeves. The man then said “What I’m gonna need you to do is give me all the money in your drawer,” according to police. …. More
